10 Commandments of WebOverdrive

1. Sigs are more than welcomed in the town of WebOverdrive. Advertisers, and members promoting advertisers, shall be permitted to have banners in their sigs up to 468x60 in size, along with 2 lines of text. Non advertisers may use 1 button up to 120x60 in size, 2 lines of text with these are also permitted.
2. WebOverdrive is a community for webmasters of all skill and knowledge levels. Thou shalt not dispense any personal attacks upon the guests of the town…The posting of negative accusations without possessing proof to backup your claims shalt not be tolerated by the WebO Gods!
3. WebOverdrive Advertisers shall be permitted to post periodic announcements regarding their program, or any promotions or contests they may be introducing in the General Discussion Forum. All the WebO Gods ask is that all announcement threads are followed up on…Thou shalt not spam blatantly.

   All other announcements, contests, or program news should be posted in the Announcements/Spam Forum only. We reserve the right to terminate any user that only posts in the contest threads; this is BS and will not be tolerated.

4. Thou shalt not post more then the first couple paragraphs when posting a story. More then this is copyright infringement. Thou shall provide ye old link to story posted as well!
5. Posting for ye old points is NOT allowed! If you post several replies back to back in the same thread, if you make more then 25 posts a day, or if you are blatantly spamming the town, this could be considered posting for ye old points and is cause for banishment from the land!
6. Thou shalt NOT bump old threads unless you have something very helpful or meaningful to add to it. Any thread older than 3 weeks would be considered old. If you bump old threads it would count as posting for ye old points which is NOT permitted by the WebO Gods!
7. We have separate sections of this town for a reason. We would like to keep announcements, spam and classifieds separate from general chit chat. Please use the forums provided for all your spamming needs.
8. No spamming other towns! We don’t spam about WebOverdrive on other boards so we kindly ask the same.
9. One account per user… Thou shalt NOT have fake nicks!
10. Ye Old Game threads- Read the rules of the game thoroughly before posting!

    Those who do not follow the Commandments of WebOverdrive shall be cast out for all eternity!
